JULIE ANN MACKAY

The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, March 11, 1999 as a result of a trafic accident, of Julie Ann MacKay of Breadalbane, in her 20th year. Beloved daughter of Hazel (Stead) and Sandy; loving sister of twin Jennifer, Katrina and Sarah. Dear granddaughter of Joyce MacKay Reid. Resting at Central Trinity United Church, Breadalbane with visiting hours Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held Sunday afternoon, March 14, 1999, from Central Trinity United at 2 p.m. Interment following the service at South Granville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breadalbane Central Trinity United Church sound system fund, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Central Queens Funeral Home, New Glasgow, P. E. I.

1917-2007

Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown on Monday July 23, 2007 of Donald B. MacKay formerly of Cornwall and Kensington aged 90 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Born in Pleasant Valley on May 3, 1917 son of the late Hugh and Annie (MacDonald) MacKay. Husband of Audrey (Stevenson) MacKay. Father to Bethany (John) Cousins, Bloomfield; Shirley (Wayne ) Cox, Calgary; Anne (Wayne) Barrett, St. Catherines and Hugh John (Eva) MacKay, Calgary. Dear Poppy to Andrew (Pauline) Cousins, Halifax; David (Shannon) Cousins, Toronto; Erin (Andrew) Siddall, Calgary; Amy and Laura Barrett, P.E.I.; Beth and John Steven MacKay, Calgary and Great Grandfather to Will Cousins, Halifax. Brother to Isabel (Lorne) Cousins, Summerside and Brother-in-law to Joyce Reid, Charlottetown. Predeceased by sister Elizabeth Carruthers and brother Rev. John MacKay.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the South Granville Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Society. Comrades of the E.W. Johnstone Br. No. 9, Royal Canadian Legion Kensington will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home Sunday at 4 p.m.
