Robert M. Corbett

Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Tuesday February 8th, 2005 of Robert M. Corbett of 29 Nottingham Ave., Charlottetown and formerly of South Granville, aged 85 years.


Son of the late Hugh and Jeanette (MacKay) Corbett. Dear husband of Margaret T. (Arsenault) Corbett. Devoted step-father of Sharon (Ed) Moores, Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland; Donna White, Darlene MacDonald, Marel (Shaun) MacKay, Gordie MacDonald and Deanna (Steve) Bowtle all of Charlottetown. Brother of Jennie Taper of Clinton. Also surviving are 12 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.


Predeceased by the following brothers and sisters Stirling, Louis, John Donald, Elizabeth Weeks, Mildred Corbett and Evelyn Corbett.


Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 3-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the South Granville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday December 27 th, 2011 of William A. (Bill) Corbett of Crescent Dr. Summerside aged 69 years. Born in South Granville, May 28, 1942, son of the late Stirling and Catherine (Bears) Corbett. Husband of Nancy (MacMurdo) Corbett. Father of James (Joanne) Corbett, Ajax, Ontario; Tracey Corbett, Riverview, New Brunswick and Korey Corbett, Summerside. Grampy to Brandon, Ashley, John David and Dylan Corbett and Logan Campbell. Brother of John Corbett, Summerside; Louise Beaton, Brookfield and Catherine (George) Ferguson, Victoria. Brother-in-law of Gwennyth (Eric) Moase, Margate; Marlene (Percy) Stein, Kensington and Wallace (Dianne) MacMurdo, Charlottetown. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his infant sister Mabel Elaine, brother-in-law Gus Beaton, nephew Albert Corbett and father and mother-in-law Eric and Marjorie (Blakeney) MacMurdo.
